Our Lady’s Hospital is identified for protection as a Structure of Regional Status (Ref. No. 221050817 on the N.I.A.H. Register). The City Walls of Cashel are a National Monument and a Protected Structure. The proposed works will comprise of internal alterations, upgrading to improve energy performance, the construction of a small extension, new roof finishes and the provision of photovoltaic panels on the main building and the construction of a canopy over the yard
