The Finaway River , Finaway Derrylea Claddagh Keenagh and Kildorough , Cavan

for rehabilitation and improvement of 1km stretch of the Finaway River at Finaway Derrylea Claddagh Keenagh and Kildorough. Works will include removal of some in-stream vegetation, repair and reinstatement of existing in-stream structures, improvement and alteration of flow dynamics by the construction of deflectors, reinforcement of the river bank in some locations and the introduction of spawning gravel to improve breeding habitats for trout. Appropriate assessment and an NIS has been submitted as part of this application
