Bantry General Hospital Carrignagat Bantry Co. Cork

The construction of a two-storey building extension to the existing hospital to provide a 16-bed Rehabilitation Unit and Undercroft Plant Area at ground floor level, a 24 bed in-patient ward at first floor level and a Louvred Plant room Enclosure at roof level. Permission is also sought for refurbishment works within the ground floor of the existing hospital and the placement of a Plant room on the existing hospital roof. The works will include all associated site development works, realignment of existing parking spaces to provide additional parking, the upgrade of the adjoining landscaping and amenity areas associated with the proposed Stroke Rehabilitation Unit and In-Patient Ward building extension and permission for modifications to northern end of the existing pedestrian walkway which runs along the eastern boundary and associated ancillary works
