8. The following Parks, Biodiversity and Landscape Services Division requirements shall be adhered to : g) The developer will retain the professional services of a qualified Landscape Architect throughout the life of the site development works and their appointment shall be notified to the planning authority prior to commencement of the works. Any vegetation which dies or is removed within 3 years of planting shall be replaced in the first planting season thereafter. The Landscape Architect will submit a Landscape Completion Report to the planning authority for written agreement, as verification that the approved landscape plans and specification have been fully implemented. The landscape scheme shall have regard to the Guidelines for Open Space Development and Taking in Charge and Landscape Completion Report Guide, copies of which are available from the Parks and Landscape Services Division. Reason: in the interests of amenity, ecology and sustainable development.
