Cullenagh Cloncullane Pass and Kylekiproe , Co. Laois

provide a 38KV electric underground connection to be provided predominantly in excavated trenches of approximately 1.2m in depth (except for bridges/culverts and optional direction drilling elements) and will include associated underground ducting; joint bays, chamber bays and sheath link boxes and inspection chambers; within bridges/culverts the provision of trenching to include galvanized steel plates and ducting across length of span; the option of directional drilling (in place of excavated trenching to the east of Ballyroan and within Coillte lands in the towland of Pass and where required to construct bridge or culvert crossings); upgrade works to the M7 Rathleague overbridge:: all associated site development and reinstatement works. There are no in-stream works proposed as part of the grid connection construction.
