for Milk Powder Processing Building including alterations to adjacent existing buildings, partial demolition and extension to the existing Boiler House; demolition of an existing penthouse and its replacement with a similar but higher bag off penthouse; alterations and extension to the Amenity Building; site development works including drains, realignment of an existing road, development of a new truck marshalling area, truck parking and all associated works. The new Milk Powder Processing Builder and the penthouse will accommodate additional processing equipment to meet market demand for particular products and to improve product quality. The application also seeks permission for works at the Waste Water Treatment Plant comprising new equipment and the provision of three new concrete waste water treatment tanks and all associated works. The milk processing plant site holds an industrial emissions licence issued by the Environmental Protection Agency. The works proposed at the Waste Water Treatment Plant are designed to ensure that treated waste water discharged to the River Nore will continue to comply with the conditions of the Licence
