Permission for a residential scheme on a site at Ballymacthomas Street. The proposed scheme will consist of the construction of 19 no. residential units over two blocks ranging in height from 2 to 3 storeys, comprising 4 no. 1 bed apartment units, 11 no. 2 bed apartment units and 4 no. 3 bed apartment units. The development includes the demolition of existing commercial and derelict structures (comprising an area of 824m2). It is proposed to extinguish the existing vehicular access off Ballymacthomas Street to the east of the site and create a new pedestrian access to the residential scheme to the east of the site (further south of the existing access point). The development also includes associated car parking (2 no. car parking spaces), 2 no raised pedestrian crossings at Ballymacthomas Street and at Father O Flynn Place, landscaping and boundary treatments, surface treatments, drainage, footpaths and all ancillary site development works.
