Demolition of existing laundry at rear and to construct a new single storey extension containing ensuite bedrooms, hairdresser’s room, kitchen, dining room, toilets, laundry, plant room and stores to rear of existing nursing home, also the addition of a single storey extension to the front of the north wing and internal alterations to the existing structure including a new window to the southwest, providing an increase from 36 to 57 bedrooms. It is proposed to make a connection to the new main sewer, to reorganise the car park to provide 37 car parking spaces with associated site works and landscaping.
