Permission for a proposed development within the Savoy Centre affecting the ground floor of Nos. 111-112 Saint Patrick's Street (formerly A-Wear) and the rear (western) elevation fronting onto Drawbridge Street and the partial southern elevation fronting onto William Street, Cork City. The proposed development involves the amalgamation of two no. retail units the current JD Sports unit and the former A-Wear unit on the ground floor and the consequent relocation of the café unit within the centre to the Drawbridge Street side which will involve the construction of a new shopfront elevation onto Drawbridge Street. The proposed development also includes the change of use of the former Hickeys space at first floor level from retail to storage/ancillary office use. The removal of the upper floor access from Saint Patrick's Street to the upper floors of 111-112 is also proposed. The creation of a service route access to the café unit which will be accessed via William Street. Indicative masterplan drawings for the entire site are also included with this application. These works include... the removal/relocation of partitions, counters, accommodation stairs, reconfiguration of internal units, drainage, bin storage, plant space, etc. Permission is sought for the above and associated site development works.
