The development comprises a hard standing area for stockpiling construction and demolition (C&D) waste materials (principally concrete, bricks, tiles and ceramics) and undertaking waste recovery activities, principally crushing using mobile plant. The C&D waste recovery activity is regulated by a waste licence issued by the Environmental Protection Agency (Ref No W0269-01)
