Permission for the construction of a mobility impaired access structure (MIAS) that will be within the curtilage of protected structure (RPS refs; 1689 and 1690/NIAH survey data reg. no's. 20828039 and 20828040). The structure is a hybrid assembly of different concrete and steel elements including a pair of staircases (two flights each), free standing lift shafts, support panels, electrical services and a walkway. Associated works will include the creation of an access path and gate from the existing entrance at Bunker Hill platform 2, an extension of the platform surface around the MIAS, relocation of track access gate (1.8m) to the R624, a proposed concrete robust kerb, extension of existing wall, and ancillary works.
